The
Bode City Council met in regular session Monday April 7, 2025 @ 6PM. Council
members Tepner, Miller, Hasfjord, and McKenna were present; absent Mayor
Peterson and council Fulwider. Also, present Sheriff Kruger,
Jesse Anderson, and Rebecca Tomko. Mayor Pro-Tem Hasfjord called the
meeting to order.  A motion was made by
Tepner, second by Miller to approve the agenda as posted, all ayes motion
carried. A motion was made by Miller, second by Tepner to approve the minutes
of the March council meeting as published. All ayes,
motion carried.
A
motion was made by Tepner, second by Miller, to approve a building permit at 1827 130th Street for a 54x30 metal building.
All ayes, motion carried.
A
motion was made by Miller, second by Tepner to approve a building permit  at 104 1st
Street for a 3” wire fence 155” in length. All ayes,
motion carried.
A
building permit located at 200 Humboldt Ave was tabled until the May council
meeting as more details were needed.
Sheriff
Kruger approached the council on “dogs at large”. Following discussion, the
council was informed that a consistent ordinance
throughout the county is needed. He will work with the county to address this,
and once the cities are notified and have adopted any changes, we hopefully
will have a clear picture of how to enforce this.
Council
Member Miller introduced the resolution hereinafter, next set out and moved its
adoption, seconded by Council Member Tepner; and after due consideration
thereof by the City Council, the Mayor Pro Tem
Hasfjord put the question upon the adoption of the said resolution and the roll
being called, the following named Council Members voted:

Tepner, Mckenna
Nays:  None
Whereupon, the Mayor Pro Tem Hasfjord declared the resolution duly adopted as
hereinafter set out:
            RESOLUTION  NO. 2025-05 Adopting and Approving Tax
Compliance Procedures           Relating

The
City Council took up for consideration a resolution
authorizing and approving a Loan and Disbursement Agreement and providing for
the issuance and securing the payment of Sewer Revenue Bonds.
After
due consideration and discussion, Council Member Miller introduced the
following resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Tepner.  The Mayor Pro Tem Hasfjord put the question upon the adoption of said
resolution, and the roll being called, the following Council Members voted:
Ayes:  Miller,
Tepner, Mckenna
Nays:  None
Whereupon, the Mayor Pro Tem
Hasfjord declared the resolution duly adopted as hereinafter set out.

Todd
McMahon, City Maintenance presented a proposal from The Pavement Doctor,
following review a motion was made by Miller, second by McKenna to approve this
at a cost of $3000 per truck load. All ayes, motion
carried.
Nuisance
Properties were addressed, Krug Construction will be cleaning up a property
located at 103 4th Street , City Clerk
directed to contact our City Attorney on anything needed before they proceed.
Council member Tepner will provide pictures and progress on the property
located at 204 Rossing Ave.
A
motion was made by Tepner, second by Miller to approve the 2025/26 City Budget
and set public hearing as April 28th @ 5:30PM
